Attendees must show photo I.D. along with their event pass to enter the event facility and to
attend all workshops.
Smoking is prohibited at all times at all WJF events.
Behavior not permitted:
Acting in a manner that could be considered reckless, inconsiderate or potentially hazardous. No throwing objects across the room or in a manner inconsistent with juggling practice. No sticking rings or any other objects inside the cracks of the walls. You may not use The Rio Hotel property in any way inconsistent with its intended purpose (No balancing yourself on chairs, or balancing chairs on yourself).
The practice space may be used to practice any form of juggling or related skill provided you aren’t causing a potential safety hazard. For example, the throwing of boomerangs or the cracking of bullwhips would be considered dangerous to others and therefore would not be allowed. If you plan on bringing a unicycle or other balancing apparatus, you must make sure to practice a safe distance from others and to keep the floor clear of your equipment when not in use.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE SHOULD ANYONE RIDE A UNICYCLE THROUGH THE HOTEL. DO NOT RIDE ACROSS THE PAVILION WHILE WEAVING AROUND OTHERS.
While inside the Royale Pavilion, WJF event participants must maintain proper hygiene.
Children under 13 years old are not to be left unsupervised at any time. This is not a daycare or a place to drop off kids so please maintain control of your children at all times and keep them safe. Children under 13 must be under the supervision of a paying adult attendee at all times.
Anyone who wishes to enter the event facilities must pay to attend. There are not discounted rates based off of what you decide to do once you’re inside.
Gym bags, juggling equipment, and any other personal belongings are not to be left anywhere in the pavilion without the accompaniment of its owner. The WJF and the Rio Hotel assume no responsibility for lost or stolen personal belongings. Practice space must stay as open and clear as possible and is not to be used as a storage room. Gym bags and other belongings left unsupervised may be removed at owners risk.
Video recording and still photograpy are prohibited during competitions and stage events. Video recording and still photograpy are allowed in the practice space at all other times but only with the permission of those being captured. If you wish to upload video you shot at a WJF event, you must first get permission from the WJF.
Participants in WJF events, while in the practice space or competition area, must wear shoes at all times. This is hotel policy.
No sleeping is allowed anywhere in the hotel except in your room. This is hotel policy.
THERE IS NO JUGGLING ALLOWED ANYWHERE INSIDE THE HOTEL EXCEPT IN OUR DESIGNATED SPACE. THOSE FOUND JUGGLING OUTSIDE OF THE ROYAL PAVILION AND INSIDE THE HOTEL WILL HAVE THEIR EVENT ACCESS AND MEMBERSHIP REVOKED. THIS IS A SERIOUS RULE THAT THE HOTEL INSISTS WE ENFORCE. PLEASE ADHERE TO IT!
If you choose to attend a WJF event, you agree to follow the WJF rules. Please respect and adhere to all these rules and help us in effectively representing juggling and jugglers as professionally as possible. Thank you for your understanding.
